Sunny days and warm nights were abundant in the tropical artist village of Coconut Grove, Florida. Having a creative artist as a father lead to weekend trips to the local art supply store where imagination soared. Father son adventures were filled with expressive painting, printing and sculpting. By the youthful age of nine, Eliot was off to apprentice with a grand Italian master of the Classical arts. Formal education culminated at Cornell University with a Bachelor of Architecture.
Bespoke hand-sewn fashion accessories of meticulous detail and exquisite profiles were featured at the finest international retailers. Elegant holiday décor and original decorative accessories were collected worldwide through the curated splendor of Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, and Barneys in the US; Harrods and Fortnum and Mason in Europe; and Lane Crawford in Asia. Celebrities and royals celebrated Eliot’s creative endeavors toasting his grace and charm.
Never far from his first love of painting, our Renaissance man continues to delight in shades of sublime color and form as he defines the visual culture of twenty-first century art, architecture, painting, and sculpture. International art markets and investors continue to be captivated, clamoring for more of Eliot’s signature style balancing clarity with elegance, simplicity with harmony, and formality with order. Amid grace and humility, Eliot continues to be among the most collected, cherished, and treasured artist of a generation.
What if I could find the good in a person? Their Heart? Their Love? Their Divine? What if I could paint this? And share it with the world? Hoping through my painting, I can show the world the Divine. In people we Love. In nature that surrounds us. In the world we live in.
Searching for Love. Searching for the Divine. Capturing it and sharing it with the world.
Love is Divine.
